President Trump FIRES Top Official

You’re fired!

President Trump has officially terminated Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Biden-appointed Commissioner of Labor Statistics, following accusations that she manipulated jobs data ahead of the 2024 election to help Kamala Harris.

The decision came after Trump took to Truth Social with a fiery announcement. In his post, Trump claimed that Dr. McEntarfer was responsible for inflating jobs numbers in key months leading up to the election — including a staggering overstatement of 818,000 jobs in March 2024, and another 112,000 jobs in August and September, right before voters headed to the polls.

“No one can be that wrong,” Trump wrote. “These numbers weren’t just off — they were manipulated. We need real, honest data that reflects the true state of the economy, not numbers designed to push a political agenda.”

President Trump stated that he had directed his team to fire McEntarfer immediately, promising to replace her with someone more competent, professional, and committed to accurate reporting.

This move comes on the heels of a disastrous July jobs report, released today. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 73,000 jobs were added in July, far below expectations. Even more troubling, May and June’s numbers were quietly revised down, showing a combined loss of 258,000 jobs compared to earlier reports.

Trump criticized these consistent downward revisions, pointing out that they always seemed to come after media cycles had moved on — quiet corrections that consistently painted a gloomier picture than originally reported.

In his Truth Social post, Trump also took aim at Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, accusing the Fed of “playing games” by strategically lowering interest rates twice before the election, supposedly in an effort to help Harris win. “Jerome ‘Too Late’ Powell should also be put out to pasture,” Trump added sarcastically.

Trump is making it clear that under his administration, political manipulation of economic data won’t be tolerated. With McEntarfer gone, a new appointee will now take the reins — and don’t be surprised if the jobs numbers suddenly start to look a whole lot more realistic.
