RFK Jr. EXPOSES Elizabeth Warren: “I Know You’ve Taken $855K From Pharma Companies, Senator!”

At a fiery Senate Finance Committee hearing, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took aim at Senator Elizabeth Warren, accusing her of accepting “$855,000 from pharmaceutical companies.” This pointed remark came as Warren pressed Kennedy on his new vaccine recommendations and their implications for public access.

The figure Kennedy referenced is drawn from OpenSecrets, a well-known watchdog site tracking campaign contributions. It includes donations from “employees or PACs affiliated with the industry,” rather than direct contributions from drug companies themselves. This methodology means even relatively small donations from lower-level pharmaceutical workers count toward the total.

Warren fired back, accusing Kennedy of eroding access to COVID-19 boosters despite previously pledging that no one who wanted the vaccine would be turned away. She highlighted that his updated guidance, which removes the recommendation for healthy individuals under 65, effectively restricts access for many and shifts costs to individuals.

The exchange quickly escalated into a tense back-and-forth about ethics and principles. Warren characterized the lack of insurance coverage and limited pharmacy access as a betrayal of public trust, while Kennedy doubled down on his figure, using it to underscore what he views as pharmaceutical influence in politics.
