BREAKING: Biden Chief of Staff Jeff Zients CONFESSES Hunter Was “Directly Involved” In Autopen Pardons

Joe Biden’s Chief of Staff Jeff Zients was called in to testify before Congress today as part of the House Oversight Committee’s ongoing investigation into the autopen scandal.

This marks the last aide to give testimony in the investigation — and boy, was it an explosive one!

Zients spilled the beans big-time on Biden’s cognitive decline while in office.

He even confessed that Hunter Biden — Joe’s crackhead son who is not an elected member of office — attended important meetings and was “directly involved” with sweeping autopen pardons!

Keep in mind that this is the same Jeff Zients whom the New York Times reported was the one who approved the autopen pardons for Fauci and other high-profile individuals.

Maybe he figured that talking might get him into less trouble?

More from The New York Post:

Troubled former first son Hunter Biden weighed in on pardons his dad Joe Biden signed before departing the presidency, ex-White House chief of staff Jeff Zients told a House committee Thursday, according to sources familiar with his testimony.

“Toward the end of the Biden administration, Hunter Biden was involved with the pardon discussions and attended a few meetings,” the source revealed of Zients’ comments, confirming prior reports about how much influence the first son exerted amid a firearms felony conviction and pleading guilty to tax evasion.

A second source with knowledge of Zients’ transcribed Capitol Hill interview said Biden “valued input from a wide variety of advisors and experts” but always made “the final decisions” himself.

“Jeff had full confidence in President Biden’s ability to serve as president and is proud of what President Biden accomplished during his four years in office,” that source emphasized.

Just hours before he departed the Oval Office, Biden shielded all his family members except Hunter — including former first brother James Biden — from future federal prosecution with blanket pardons.

Zients made the final call on those clemencies after Biden gave the OK, writing in a 10:31 p.m. email on Jan. 19: “I approve the use of the autopen for the execution of all of the following pardons,” according to The New York Times.

Along with revealing that Hunter Biden was involved with presidential pardons, Zients testified that Biden’s mind was in steep decline by the end of his term.

Fox News shared more details:

Zients is the final former Biden aide expected to appear before the House Oversight Committee in its autopen probe.

The source familiar with his sit-down told Fox News Digital that Zients “admitted that President Biden’s speech stumbles increased as he aged.”

“He also noted that the president’s difficulty remembering dates and names worsened over time, including during the administration,” the source said.

A second source familiar with Zients’ comments to the House Oversight Committee defended his comments.

“As chief of staff, Jeff’s job was to ensure that the president met with a range of advisors to thoroughly consider issues so that the president could make the best decisions,” the second source told Fox News Digital.

“Throughout Jeff’s time working with him, while President Biden valued input from a wide variety of advisors and experts, the final decisions were made by the president and the president alone,” the second source said.

Why on earth was Hunter Biden involved with anything going on in the White House — especially the pardons of violent criminals?

This reeks of corruption to the highest degree.

As for the pardons themselves, I have two words: null and void.
