RFK Jr. Campaign Faces Turmoil Amid Internal Feud and Leak Controversy

The presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is facing renewed scrutiny following a series of internal disputes and the emergence of a leaked phone call involving former President Donald Trump.

At the center of the controversy is Calley Means, a wellness entrepreneur and the brother of Dr. Casey Means, Kennedy’s nominee for U.S. Surgeon General. Calley has accused another member of the campaign’s health policy team of leaking damaging information to far-right activist Laura Loomer. The allegation has triggered internal investigations and escalated tensions within the campaign’s ranks.

The conflict comes on the heels of a leaked phone conversation between Kennedy and Trump, which was made public by Kennedy’s son, Bobby Kennedy III. In the call, Trump suggested the possibility of collaboration, stating, “I would love you to do something… it would be so good for you and so big for you.” He also echoed skepticism toward vaccines—a topic central to Kennedy’s platform.

The recording, reportedly captured unintentionally by a campaign videographer, has sparked backlash. RFK Jr. responded by apologizing for the leak and emphasized that he remains committed to his independent presidential run.

The combination of infighting and high-profile missteps has cast a spotlight on the campaign’s internal dynamics and raised questions about its long-term cohesion and messaging strategy.
