President Trump Orders Local Authorities In California To Intervene!

It appears the clash between President Trump and California Governor Gavin Newsom is reaching a boiling point—this time over the growing national controversy surrounding biological males competing in women’s sports. What was once a policy disagreement has now erupted into a full-scale political showdown, with President Trump calling for drastic federal action against California.

In a fiery post on TruthSocial, Trump didn’t mince words. He referred to Newsom as “Newscum” and accused the governor of continuously putting radical political ideology ahead of the health, safety, and fairness of actual women. The tipping point? California’s refusal to put an end to policies that allow biological males to compete in women’s sports—something Trump and many of his supporters see as not only unfair but dangerous.

Trump’s message was crystal clear: California has been warned enough. He said there should be no more empty deadlines or vague threats. Instead, he called for immediate consequences—namely, pulling all federal funding from the state. “Just shut him down,” Trump wrote, reflecting growing frustration among conservatives who believe that California’s progressive agenda has spiraled out of control.

The post goes beyond sports. Trump also criticized Newsom’s environmental priorities, pointing out that the governor has refused to turn the water back on for farmers and communities in order to protect the habitat of a small fish species known as the “Delta smelt.” According to Trump, this is yet another example of Newsom caring more about fish than he does about actual Californians. In his view, Newsom’s entire governance approach is driven by virtue-signaling and progressive talking points rather than real leadership or common sense.

The criticism didn’t stop there. Trump also accused Newsom of being two-faced—highlighting a past interaction where Newsom appeared to agree with conservative commentator Charlie Kirk that allowing biological males in women’s sports was wrong, only to later act in complete contradiction to that stance. Trump’s implication is that Newsom, like many Democrat politicians, will say whatever is politically convenient in the moment, only to fall back in line with radical policies when the cameras are off.

The overall tone from Trump and his supporters is one of exasperation. They feel the time for negotiation or compromise is over. California, in their view, has had ample time to reverse course and do the right thing—but it hasn’t. Now, they’re demanding swift and decisive action from the federal government. No more leniency. No more games. Just consequences.

Whether or not the Biden administration—or future Trump administration—would actually cut federal funding remains to be seen, but the political message is loud and clear: conservatives are drawing a red line, and California’s policies on gender and sports may be the battleground where they intend to hold it.
