MUST SEE: B-2 Bombers Used To Attack Iranian Nuclear Facilities Spotted Making Their Way Back To Base

B-2 Stealth Bombers Return Home After Devastating Strike on Iran’s Nuclear Program
The American B-2 Spirit bombers that carried out the recent strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities have officially returned home to the United States.
Multiple eyewitness videos shared on X (formerly Twitter) show the iconic stealth bombers flying over several U.S. states as they made their way back to Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, where they originally launched.
The strike, which targeted two major underground nuclear enrichment facilities in Iran, marked a massive escalation in the growing conflict between Iran and the U.S.-Israel alliance.
Inside the Bombers: 37-Hour Mission Across the World
The B-2s took off from Missouri late Friday, flying a grueling 18-hour journey to the Middle East — refueling multiple times midair — before dropping a payload of 30,000-pound bunker-buster bombs directly onto Iran’s Fordow nuclear site and other high-priority targets. The mission, dubbed Operation Midnight Hammer, was years in the making and relied on deception and stealth to maintain secrecy.
The return journey brought the mission total to 37 hours inside the cockpit — a feat made slightly more bearable thanks to some unexpected amenities inside the aircraft. According to The New York Post, each B-2 bomber is equipped with:
- A microwave and mini fridge for storing food and drinks
- A toilet for long-haul comfort
- Enough space for one pilot to rest while the other flies
Though designed during the Cold War to carry nuclear payloads, the B-2 remains one of the most technologically advanced and elusive aircraft in the U.S. arsenal. Each jet costs over $2 billion, and only 19 are operational today, following a crash that destroyed one in 2008.
The Strike: Devastating, Precise, and Undetected
According to WKMG and military officials, the strike was coordinated with U.S. naval forces, who launched dozens of cruise missiles from a submarine at additional Iranian targets. American officials say the combined air and sea assault delivered a knockout blow to key components of Iran’s nuclear program — though Iran continues to deny the scale of the damage.
In total, the B-2s dropped more than 420,000 pounds of explosives.
Remarkably, U.S. intelligence says Iran never detected the inbound bombers — thanks to a carefully planned diversion.
A decoy fleet of B-2s was deliberately flown west toward the Pacific to draw attention from media and military watchers. Meanwhile, seven fully armed B-2s flew east in complete radio silence, escorted by U.S. fighter jets and recon aircraft once they reached the Mediterranean.
Tactical Surprise: Trump’s Misdirection Helped Conceal the Strike
President Trump played a key role in the strategic deception. Just one day before the attack, Trump publicly stated he would decide “within two weeks” whether or not to authorize strikes on Iran — buying time and giving the impression that nothing was imminent.
In reality, the strike was already underway.
Top military officials, including Air Force Gen. Dan Caine, confirmed that only a very small number of leaders were aware of the operation in advance — most members of Congress were not briefed until the final moments. Gen. Caine explained the secrecy was necessary to maintain the element of tactical surprise.
A map released by the Pentagon shows the B-2s’ flight path took them over Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq before entering Iranian airspace. It remains unclear whether any of those governments were notified ahead of time.
What Comes Next?
Iran has vowed retaliation. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned of “everlasting consequences” in response to what it calls an unprovoked act of aggression. U.S. and allied forces around the world remain on high alert, and concerns have been raised about the possible activation of Iranian sleeper cells inside the United States — a threat previously communicated to Trump in private, according to an NBC report.
The mission’s success marks a turning point in the conflict — but it may only be the beginning of a much larger geopolitical showdown.
