THE NUMBERS ARE IN: Here’s How Much Tariffs Have Raked In For America So Far…

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just dropped a major update — and it’s a big win for Trump’s trade agenda.

So far this year, the U.S. has already taken in around $100 billion from tariffs alone, and that’s before the new, tougher tariffs even kick in. By the end of the year, Bessent says that number could triple to $300 billion. That’s real money flowing into the Treasury.

And it doesn’t stop there. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates tariff revenue over the next decade at $2.8 trillion, but Bessent says that’s actually an underestimate — meaning we could be looking at even more than that coming in.

President Trump made it clear during the cabinet meeting that this is part of a bigger economic push. He thanked Republicans for passing the Big Beautiful Bill, slammed Democrats for playing politics, and highlighted how much the bill does for working Americans — like zero taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security, plus massive investments in border security and economic growth.

And on the border? Trump says illegal crossings have dropped to near zero and suggests they might not even need to spend the full budget for the wall because it’s already working.

Then there’s the latest tariff moves:
🔹 August 1 – new, higher “reciprocal” tariffs go into effect
🔹 Copper imports – hit with a 50% tariff
🔹 And more to come on semiconductors and pharmaceuticals

Despite the media spin, this is undeniable proof that tariffs work. They’re bringing in money, protecting American industry, and giving the U.S. leverage at the global negotiating table. Trump isn’t just talking about making America strong again — this is what it looks like in action.
