The report also mentions that a female staffer jumped into the water to try to save Campbell after he fell off his board, but sadly it was too late. Secret Service reportedly has surveillance footage of Campbell near Obama’s compound just moments before he entered the water—and that footage might become public soon.

This contradicts earlier claims from ABC, NBC, and CBS News, all of which stated the Obamas were away when the drowning happened.
