ADL CEO Says He’s Working With Senator Ted Cruz To “Take Down” Tucker Carlson
Senator Ted Cruz needs to address this ASAP.
The CEO of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Jonathan Greenblatt, who has been infamous for censoring conservative voices on social media and on television, is reportedly working with Ted Cruz to censor more conservatives.
Greenblatt, at a recent event, revealed he’s working alongside Cruz to “take down” Tucker Carlson.
Mediaite reported more on Greenblatt’s comments:
Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt revealed during an event on Saturday that he was working with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) “to take down Tucker Carlson” and other critics of Israel on the right.
Asked at a Sinai Temple event with Rabbi David Wolpe what the ADL was doing to take down Nick Fuentes, Greenblatt said, “Look, his last name is Fuentes. Nick Fuentes is a Hispanic person, okay? He is an open, unapologetic racist, homophobe, and more than anything, an anti-Semite. He’s a toxic, disgusting person, and yet thanks to X and social media, he’s been incredibly effective at getting his message out there.”
Greenblatt went on to criticize President Donald Trump for having dinner with Fuentes in 2022, saying, “And look, it didn’t help us when candidate, whatever you call him, former President Trump had him over for dinner like in Mar-a-Lago a few years ago, and it doesn’t help us that when given the opportunity, people in positions of power don’t renounce this guy.”
ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, while speaking before an LA synagogue, suggests he’s helping people “behind the scenes” to “take down” Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson and Hasan Piker.
He continued, “Nick Fuentes is disgusting, Tucker Carlson is disgusting, Candace Owens is disgusting, and so on, but there have been good people like Ted Cruz and Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin [and] Speaker Johnson pushing back on these revolting lunatics.”
“I think the only way we are going to defeat the rise in anti-Semitism on the right is from the right,” Greenblatt argued.

Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson have been feuding ever since Cruz called Tucker an anti-semite:
Politico reported that Cruz previously called out Republicans for not calling out Tucker for interviewing Nick Fuentes:
Sen. Ted Cruz blasted fellow Republicans for failing to criticize Tucker Carlson, saying the conservative pundit has “spread a poison that is profoundly dangerous.”
“My colleagues, almost to a person, think what is happening is horrible, but a great many of them are frightened because he has one hell of a big megaphone,” Cruz (R-Texas) said Friday during a speech at the Federalist Society’s National Lawyers Convention in Washington.
Carlson upended the conservative movement after he hosted avowed white supremacist Nick Fuentes on his podcast last week. The incident — and the subsequent backlash — overshadowed last weekend’s Republican Jewish Coalition annual summit and sparked internal turmoil at The Heritage Foundation, leading to the resignation of multiple staff members.
Cruz, a self-described “Christian Zionist,” was among the earliest and most forceful critics of Carlson and Fuentes’ podcast episode. At the RJC last week, he said he has “seen more antisemitism on the right” in the past six months “than I have in my entire life.”
“If you sit there with someone who says Adolf Hitler was very, very cool, and that their mission is to combat and defeat global Jewry, and you say nothing, then you are [a] coward and you are complicit in that evil,” Cruz said.
But Cruz was more forceful Friday in criticizing fellow conservatives for not forcefully condemning Carlson.
“Fuentes and Tucker and the rest of that ilk have a right to say what they are saying,” Cruz said at the Federalist Society convention. “Every one of us has an obligation to stand up and say it is wrong.”
“It’s easy right now to denounce Fuentes,” Cruz added. “Are you willing to say Tucker’s name?”
