MSNBC BUSTED For Wildly Misleading Report — We Have The Truth Here

It looks like the Democrats tried to manufacture a viral meme — and completely missed the mark. Their big idea? Something called “Trump TACO.” Yes, really.

According to reports (not that MSNBC would tell you), the Left poured a whopping $20 million into this bizarre campaign trying to get “Trump TACO” trending. But instead of going viral, it barely registered with anyone. The reaction wasn’t negative — it was nonexistent. No buzz. No laughs. Just… silence. That’s how badly it flopped.

As people are pointing out, it’s yet another example of how the Left can’t meme. They don’t understand humor or internet culture — and it shows. One example from the campaign features a guy awkwardly holding a taco and trying to make a joke, but it just comes across as painfully cringe.

To make matters worse, media cheerleaders like MSNBC and Twitter personalities like Brian Krassenstein are pretending it was a huge success just because Google searches for “Trump Taco” spiked. But here’s the thing they won’t tell you:

Google Trends doesn’t show how many people searched something. It only shows relative interest over time — so a jump from zero searches to a few dozen can look like a 9,900% increase. That’s not a “viral moment.” That’s a blip.

In reality, this was a textbook backfire. Or maybe not even a backfire — because that would imply it made an impact. This campaign landed with a thud and disappeared, like most of the Left’s attempts at humor.

Maybe next time they’ll save the $20 million and just let the internet decide what’s funny. Or better yet — they could try winning arguments with facts instead of tacos.
