Mysterious Orange Figure Spotted Near Epstein’s Cell in ‘New’ Prison Video (Expert Opinion)

The official story on Jeffrey Epstein’s so-called suicide has more holes than a porcupine’s raincoat.
Or, at the very least, the official review of his death is nowhere near as airtight as the government would like everyone to believe.
You’ve probably heard about the mouse cursor spotted in the “raw” prison camera footage, and of course the “missing minute” that nobody was supposed to notice in the initial video release.
But now, an orange shape observed on the staircase leading up to Epstein’s cell has been spotted in the newly released “full” video.
And video forensic experts have weighed in against the official government attempt to explain that orange shape away.
Keep in mind — the orange clad figure in this video is the very last time movement is captured approaching Epstein’s cell prior to his body being discovered.
The ‘official’ narrative has been that the orange shape is simply a guard carrying linens… though the obvious question arises — if you see an orange clad figure in a prison, is it more likely to be a guard or an inmate?
Check out a clip from CBS’s investigation into the mystery orange shape:
As the CBS reporting describes, the inability to positively identify the orange clad person ascending the stairs to Epstein’s landing doesn’t PROVE “Epstein didn’t kill himself”.
But it certainly exposes the holes in the official narrative, and reveals one more layer of presumption involved in coming to the conclusion that he actually died by suicide.
A group of forensic experts came to that same conclusion, as detailed in this report by the New York Post:
An orange shape was spotted on surveillance footage near Jeffrey Epstein’s prison cell on the final night of his life — and forensic experts are questioning the federal government’s explanation of the mysterious object.
The shadowy object, seen in video obtained and reviewed by CBS News, moves up the stairs to Epstein’s cell block at the Metropolitan Correctional Center around 10:40 p.m. the night before the 66-year-old convicted sex trafficker was found hanged.
Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019, and an official autopsy, as well as a joint DOJ-FBI probe, found that the disgraced financier killed himself by hanging.
But the forensic experts who spoke to CBS News believe there are significant flaws in the Justice Department’s official review of the convicted sex trafficker’s death.
While the FBI claimed surveillance cameras would have captured anyone entering or exiting the area where the multimillionaire was held, footage released by the DOJ revealed that the staircase is almost entirely out of view, the outlet’s analysis found.
The entrance to Epstein’s cell is also outside the camera’s field of view.
“To say that there’s no way that someone could get to that, the stairs up to his room, without being seen is false,” video forensic expert Jim Safford told CBS, with his view shared by four other leading experts.
Check out these images showing the layout of the prison where Epstein was jailed.
You can clearly see how inconclusive any video evidence would be, considering almost all the cameras were malfunctioning at the time…
And the one camera we were led to believe showed Epstein’s cell… actually DIDN’T!
Neither one of the doors clearly visible in the video lead to Epstein’s cell:
I keep hearing in my head FBI Deputy Director Bongino (whom I greatly respect…) saying that it’s “clear as day” from the video footage that no one else goes in there with Epstein.
This video clearly refutes that claim, at the very least leaving open the possibility that one unknown orange clad individual did indeed have access to the area of Epstein’s cell just prior to his death.
That was the main point brought out by experts who were shown the video by CBS during their investigation into the orange shape and other anomalies inconsistent with the government’s story.
In fact, those video forensic experts directly countered the official assessment of the identity of the orange shape ascending the stairs, according to CBS News:
In the weeks after Jeffrey Epstein died at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in lower Manhattan, in August 2019, then-Attorney General William Barr said his “personal review” of surveillance footage clearly showed that no one entered the area where Epstein was housed, leading him to agree with the conclusion of the medical examiner that Epstein had died by suicide.
It’s a claim that’s been repeated by other top federal officials, including FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, who said on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” in May, “There’s video clear as day — he’s the only person in there and the only person coming out.”
But a CBS News analysis of the video the FBI made public earlier this month reveals that the recording doesn’t provide a clear view of the entrance to Epstein’s cell block — one of several contradictions between officials’ descriptions of the video and the video itself.
The grainy, pixelated footage shows two doors, a nondescript blue trash can and a stair landing. Beyond the banister, a third of the frame is filled with a bright, fluorescent-lit open area. A staircase is visible on the left, and in the back, a dark, blurry patch marks the correctional officer’s desk. To the right of the desk is the faint outline of part of the staircase leading up to Epstein’s cell.
Several cameras in the Special Housing Unit were functioning but unmonitored, the report said, and the government has stated that a failure of the digital video recording system resulted in the loss of most of the footage from the night of Aug. 9-10, 2019, that would have provided a fuller view.
Just before 10:40 p.m., an orange shape is seen moving up the stairs leading to Epstein’s tier. The report says. “Through review and analysis of the SHU video footage, witness statements, and BOP records, the OIG determined that at approximately 10:40 p.m. a CO [corrections officer], believed to be Noel, carried linen or inmate clothing up to the L Tier, which was the last time any CO approached the only entrance to the SHU tier in which Epstein was housed.”
Video forensic experts who reviewed that footage at the request of CBS News were skeptical about that interpretation and suggested that the shape could be a person dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit climbing the stairs.
Conor McCourt, a retired NYPD sergeant and forensic video expert, told CBS News, “Based on the limited video, it’s more likely it’s a person in an [orange] uniform.”
Neither the “missing minute” in the initial video release nor this mysterious orange shape seen heading in the direction of Epstein’s cell in his final hours equates to a smoking gun to refute the suicide narrative.
But it does show an apparent agenda in labeling something that is inconclusive at best as being far more substantiated than it really is.
It is just as likely that we are seeing in that footage someone who took part in the killing of Epstein — in line with the view of many — as it is that we are watching a guard in an orange jumpsuit deliver bedding with no other apparent substantiation that has been made known to the public.
As the forensic experts who reviewed the footage told CBS News, it is logically more likely that it is an inmate, and not a guard. But I’m trying to avoid making the same mistake that the official investigators seemed to have made by relying on presumption.
What isn’t being contested is that Jeffrey Epstein is last seen alive — on this same camera — just before 8pm the night before his death, as shown in this clip released a few weeks ago:
But with investigators willingness to rely on inconclusive data to build and present what is being touted as highly conclusive findings…
The question of whether or not Jeffrey Epstein did, or did not, kill himself has effectively been transplanted by a more immediate question in the minds of many:
Who is behind what appears to be a continuation of the Epstein coverup, and who — and why — are certain people still being protected?
And if that ISN’T the case, why has the information dolled out to the public been so ridiculously lacking in it’s credibility?
At every turn of this case there seems to be more questions than verifiable answers.
And the discovery of this mysterious orange figure just outside the clear range of view certainly hasn’t done any favors for those touting the official government narrative.
