NEW: Bluesky Bans JD Vance Just Minutes After He Joins The Platform

Bluesky — the little platform that thinks it’s a rival to Twitter/X — just reminded everyone why no one takes it seriously.

Let’s talk numbers first.
As of November 2024:

  • X.com: ~250 million global daily active users
  • Bluesky: ~6.4 million

So you’ve got a platform that barely shows up on the radar, and yet they still have the arrogance to start banning major political figures — including, incredibly, the sitting Vice President of the United States.

Yes, you read that right.

JD Vance joined Bluesky, posted something critical but completely within the bounds of political discourse — and got instantly suspended.
The message simply said: “Account has been suspended.”
No warning. No reason. Just gone.

Why? Because he dared to post a critique of transgender medical treatments and pointed out conflicts of interest in scientific research. He even cited Justice Clarence Thomas.
That’s it. No threats. No slurs. Just opinion and fact. But apparently that’s too dangerous for the fragile minds at Bluesky HQ.

Now let’s be real — I think Vance knew exactly what would happen. His post had that dry, knowing tone like someone daring them to do it.
And Bluesky walked straight into the trap.

Because now it’s not just “X vs. Bluesky” — it’s the White House vs. Silicon Valley censorship.
This could give Vance and Trump the perfect excuse to go after Section 230 with a sledgehammer.

And honestly? Good.

These platforms have enjoyed immunity while acting like editors and political gatekeepers. You don’t get to call yourself a neutral platform while silencing voices you don’t like — especially elected officials.

Even more insane? They quickly reinstated his account after backlash, but still haven’t said a word about why he was banned in the first place.
Cowardice. Censorship. Idiocy. Pick your poison — Bluesky’s got it all.

So yeah — good luck, Bluesky.
Your 15 minutes of relevance just turned into a national example of everything that’s wrong with Big Tech.

I hope you crash and burn — and I hope Facebook goes down with you.
You don’t support “safe conversations.” You suppress the ones you disagree with.

And we’re done pretending otherwise.

Go get ’em, JD. The people are behind you.
