Musk Unveils Outrageous DOGE Discoveries

This is crazy stuff.

Elon Musk Shares Most Outrageous Discoveries by DOGE

Elon Musk has spotlighted some of the most startling findings from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the federal initiative he led to combat wasteful spending. Among these revelations were unemployment benefits disbursed to individuals listed as deceased, toddlers, and even those with birth dates set in the future.

As his time leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) winds down, Elon Musk revealed the most shocking examples of government waste uncovered under his watch. Speaking with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Musk outlined several cases where federal funds were misused or poorly monitored—highlighting just how deep inefficiency runs in Washington.

Musk was tapped by President Trump to head DOGE with a mission to uncover up to $2 trillion in wasted spending. Though his role as a “special government employee” limited his service to 130 days per year, Musk’s team still unearthed major red flags.

Among the most controversial findings: a $132,000 U.S. government contract awarded to a former Taliban official, Mohammad Qasem Halimi—who was previously detained by U.S. forces and later served in the Afghan government. The contract was quickly canceled after DOGE’s intervention. Musk’s staff also criticized the agency responsible—the U.S. Institute of Peace—for spending money on private jets and storing firearms, dubbing it “the least peaceful agency” they’d come across.

Another area of concern was COVID-19 school relief funds, where DOGE flagged $200 billion in spending with minimal oversight. Misuse included hotel stays in Las Vegas, professional events at MLB stadiums, and even the purchase of an ice cream truck. Some districts defended the expenses, but DOGE pointed to them as evidence of loose financial accountability.

Musk’s team also raised eyebrows at a $20 million USAID grant for an Iraq-based version of Sesame Street, called “Ahlan Simsim,” funded through Sesame Workshop. Senator Joni Ernst criticized the project as excessive foreign aid during a time of domestic economic pressure.

Supporting data from the Government Accountability Office showed $162 billion in improper payments across various agencies last fiscal year. Although that’s a decrease from the previous year, Musk emphasized that it still signals systemic failure.

Finally, DOGE targeted Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, identifying hundreds of millions in spending for potential cuts—aligning with Trump’s push for a merit-based federal workforce.

Can you investigate the names that used this money and charge them. We need consequences. It needs to go in
the newspapers not just on media sites.
